The new “Health Hub” (previously the former Thuringowa Central Council Chambers) will be located in the vibrant and bustling city of Townsville in North Queensland. Townsville is known as a popular tourist destination and the major gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, the Wet Tropics and the Queensland outback.
The aim of the Eastbrooke Townsville Health Hub will be to supply the growing community with important services from a comprehensive list of Health, Wellness, Medical, Retail and Professional service providers including a state of the art medical centre, pharmacy, pathology, dental, optical and hearing clinics, allied health practitioners, exercise physiology with fitness gym, fresh food grocer, day care centre, council library and NDIS provider.
Eastbrooke Director, Simon de Picot commented “Eastbrooke is excited to be transforming the former Thuringowa Central Council Chambers into what is expected to be one of Queensland’s biggest family Health Hubs. Our aim is to provide local residents a convenient ‘all-in-one’ health, medical and wellness facility”.
The establishment of the Eastbrooke Health Hub will result in National, State and Local businesses working together to improve the lives of the Townsville community and will be a contemporary and premium facility encompassing all existing buildings, totalling 6000m2 of space.
The Health Hub plans to open its doors to the public in November 2017.
